Tombstone – Dale Byron Spencer

One good thing about all the problems I have had posting here. This tombstone is coming out at a good time, being Veterans Day. Anyone following along may remember that the Lions Club sign at the entrance to this cemetery put up in the late 90′s said that there were 3 graves with tombstones, so this one makes the 4th.

I believe this to be one of the tombstones that the Veterans Administration will provide if asked, My wife and I were wondering how this gentleman ended up tucked in the back corner of this old cemetery, who would you contact to be interred in a place like this, who would you pay, somebody has to be paid don’t they? I think its great that he could find this unique place to rest.

Technical Difficulties

I haven’t been writing as much here as I have wanted to, I had a computer crash last week and my blog theme was giving me a lot of headaches with alignment.

Well I have the computer fixed and I have spent all weekend working on this new wordpress theme, I couldn’t find any free themes out there I liked, so I made my first. I patterned after my main website, FamilyHistoryImages.com (a work in progress). It is a Joomla website, I just borrowed the background images, I’m not too happy with the header, maybe when I have another weekend to kill some day I will redo it.

Anyway back to work.
